Of course it doesn't "make sense" to fight Ugas. Just like it doesn't make sense to fight Crawford. He's likely to lose these fights.

Bottom line is, Porter will fight whoever PBC tells him to, if he wants to get paid. He's not nearly a big enough draw to think he can call shots, and all the big name opponents he wants are all looking in another direction, so he's likely to fight whoever PBC feels will bring the money he's looking for, or he can take a paycut and fight a bum. He keeps mentioning Danny, but Danny was reluctant to fight him with a belt on the line, there's clearly no chance he fights Porter now. Delusions of grandeur at its finest- Shawn Porter.

Porter is older and wise enough to know that fighting Yordenis could very easily set his career back and possibly get him hurt. Porter is looking for a low risk high reward fight not Ugas or Crawford.

Ugas made Porter look lost in there and it looked just like the Brook-Porter fight but porter got the nod because we never would’ve of gotten Spence-Porter PPV.
