Wilder was already looking for a way out from like the end of the 3rd rd when he threw a punch, missed and was doing stanky leg dance.

By the time the towel was thrown in - he was ready to quit. And that's why he wasn't punching back. All the posturing he did afterwards was basically the fake tough guy persona. Anyone trying to hang in there for the long haul would've at least made an effort to punch back when those 2 big rights landed. The guy just stood there waiting for help.

No, what it showed is that, Wilder can't take a punch hence he has been protected throughout his career. A decent puncher would've sparked him out by the end of the 3rd rd or mid 4th rd max. As soon as he went down with that soft body shot - he was done. Fury is just pillow fisted and he still can't knock a wank out.

I thought right when it was stopped, Fury was about to land some heavy shots to drop Wilder again. And had Wilder got up, he may have went down for a 10 count. Breland saved Wilder some dignity by throwing in the towel even though he was being throughly out classed and dominated due to having limited boxing skills.

That stoppage was one of the most compassionate stoppages i ever saw from a trainer, up there with eddie futch stopping joe frazier against ali in their 3rd fight

Pfft. Windmill is lucky to have Breland in his corner, he did that cause he cares about Windmills health. Windmill has a lot to be greatful for. And who knows if Bayless was ready to stop the fight since he was on Windmills side. Windmill is an ungrateful pea brain.

I think Wilder's protestations at the stoppage were just bravado, understandable from a man with no losses up to that point. When Breland threw the towel, Wilder was done. He wasn't throwing back and he looked utterly exhausted. His balance, shaky at the best of times, was gone. I'm interested to see the 3rd fight, but I suspect Wilder is already mentally defeated. I wish he'd had the good grace to accept his loss with dignity, walk away and quietly get on with improving his craft for the rematch. The excuses just made him look pathetic, although not as pathetic as some of his fan-boi's on here. You know who you are.

Just watched the fight yesterday and in the last sequence you can see Fury using his palm to block Wilder's sight. Nothing ilegal in that. Then he closed the left into a fist and threw it and missed with it but connected 2 rights and the fight was done.

I actually think the Fight ws done in the first round when Wilder connected his right 3 times and nothing happened then Fury connected the first big right hand and Wilder was moved like a rag doll.

So it seems 6'9" Fury found his punching power on that moment and Wilder should not take the 3rd fight, he is going to be Ko'd badly next time.

This is not one of the 40+ tomato cans Wilder fought in the past.

Where did I say Fury did anything illegal in the last sequence? I said once Fury landed the two big right in the last sequence and Wilder didn’t punch back - Wilder was begging for the towel to be thrown in.

People are just acting like it was some bravery but Wilder wanted out of the fight from like the 3rd rd. Fury isn’t just a puncher - any decent puncher would’ve knocked Wilder out cold by the end of the 3rd rd.
