Is Tyson Fury another hype job like Wilder?

Fury haters are starting to sound very worried.
Fury has never been more fitter and more motivated, he's knocking your fav HW spark out and there's nothing you can do about it.
Just accept the fact that Tyson Fury is the best HW of this era, and possibly the best of all time h2h. When you accept something, you eventually move on.
It's all very well calling Wilder a bum, but he was the bookies fav to knock Fury out in both fights lol.Comment

Yeah, Fury is a fine representation of a human being; Sexist, ****phobic, Anti-Semitic, Anti-Transgender.It's because Fury, like me, doesn't see race, we're men of the world and judge people by their actions, unlike Mr Superior Black Race.
I wonder if they'll ever make a movie about AJ? Not unless they want a cure for insomnia, LOL.
5 mins of listening to AJ prattling on makes me want to slit my wrists.
Man of the world!? Don't make me laugh.
Then we have his fine example of being a Boxing champion; PED abuse, alcohol abuse and drug abuse. Oh yeah, definitely the kind of Champion this sport needs. Big thumbs up. SMH.
and this is the stuff that we know about. Not being racist should be a given. It doesn't make him, or you, a saint.
Don't flatter yourself.Comment

All I have to say is this, Fury has saved more lives doing his mental health work than any of us combined.
I suspect he'll get an OBE very soon.
The people's champion.Comment

Fury is so over rated. His fanboys are just as deluded as Wilder fanboys. He had a good win in Germany that was one of the worst fights to watch and ducked the rematch. He was very lucky to even be in the ring in Düsseldorf and should have been serving a PED ban at the time.
He did beat Wilder but Wilder had never fought anyone other than an old hypejob whose best win is Bryant Jennings.
He is also incapable of telling the truth.Comment

With Fury, there's always something fishy and sinister. And in as much as I think Wilder is a bum, there might be an element of truth in some of the excuses since a broken clock is right twice a day.Don't forget the mighty Pianeta.
I hear what you are saying. I'm actually starting to come around to the possibility that Fury couldn't beat Wilder without underhand tactics.
The Wallin fight would have been stopped if it was the other way around.
Hopefully Fury will lose his '0' and all of this 'Fury is an ATG' spouting on here will vanish. I see him relapsing into his old ways soon anyway - can't defend a title for toffee.
Also, when you look at Tyson Fury's career and how he whimsically went from a shythouse with a big mouth to one of the best heavyweights, after directly getting involved with notorious criminals - you'll see that something isn't just right. Fury was getting knocked down by bums and struggling against a poor Chisora, then he linked up with Peter Fury, a notorious criminal that Scotland Yard put in the same class as *********s - all of a sudden he turned into a world beater.
He got banned for PED after that and got fat whilst claiming some fake mental health issues. He came back and was struggling against Pianetta and Seferi. Then he signed a deal with the notorious criminals that run MTK Global and all of a sudden he's a world beater again.
Something is just off and this might be another big gypsy scam but this time, it's on a global scale. I don't even see him fighting Wilder in a rematch any time soon regardless of the posturing. He did the same with the Wlad rematch before running away. They had the venue and did a couple of press conferences before he pulled out. And he pulled out twice. Neither are ‘hype jobs.’ Wilder has incredible power, he also won an Olympic medal and has beaten quality opponents. Fury has shown he can box and fight - havent seen a man his size with movement and boxing ability. He’s just complex mentally and can look poor when he hasn’t trained right or his head isn’t right.
Every top fighter has had bad performances. Ali looked less than stellar again a series of bummy challengers, could’ve lost decisions against Doug Jones and against the overrated and chinny Ken Norton... not to mention being almost knocked out by 190lb Henry Cooper. Tyson got battered by McBride and Williams, Rocky Marciano struggled against some lesser fighters, Wladimir got flattened by guys not as his level, Lennox as well. FFS its heavyweight boxing and so much importance lies in training camp, mental attitude as well as style. Stop trying to be deliberately controversialComment

So basically you think he is a bum, but don't know why and there is nothing he can do or beat to convince you otherwise as nobody is good enough anyway...I dunno but I’ll never see Fury as a great boxer.
I still remember the bummy Fury with big mouth that I’d rather watch paint dry than watch fight. The Fury that got battered by McDermott, knocked down heavily by Cunningham and Pajkic, and the Fury that struggled against Chisora in the first fight.
So what changed? The transformation is just too sudden for me to buy whatever the gypo is selling (gypos can’t be trusted). This guy joined Peter Fury and boom, he became a world beater. Progress in boxing doesn’t happen like that and there’s something amiss (I just can’t lay a finger on it).
His performance against an unmotivated Wlad still doesn’t impress me and beating Wilder who’s a bum isn’t a big deal. He has to beat Josh in style to convince me (I don’t even see that happening). And then beat Dillian Whyte (I don’t rate Whyte that highly as well because hie got lucky against Parker and Chisora 1).Comment

I don't think Fury is a bum (Wilder is a bum tho). But I do think he's overrated because he's opportunistic - not because of his talent. His resume is razor thin and how do you even explain the hype about a guy who has only fought two quality opponents in 13 yrs (had to go by public noise and call Wilder a quality opponent)? Take a look at the top 10 rankings and Fury has only fought Wilder.
Apart from being a good mover and perhaps having a decent boxing brain - Fury isn't an exceptional boxer. He's still very clumsy and hardly throws punches with conviction and accuracy. And he does have moments where he's lost in the ring and gets carried away with his own antics. I just don't get the hype and he's going to get flattened soon since he can't hide behind that fictitious lineal title anymore. He's a good boxer but people need to stop hyping that clown.Comment

Fury is not a hype job. As boring as the Wlad fight was he stayed disciplined until the end of that fight. When he got cut with Wallin he had to dig in deep and win the fight with such a horrendous cut.
Can't mix his personality antics with his skillsComment
