The real problems Judah caused were due to his power which Spinks doesn't have. Also when have you seen a boxer trouble Floyd? Nobody thinks the Zab Judah fight was one of his toughest. Castillo was one of his toughest fights and while I know that Castillo is far more of a technician than Margarito...pressure fighters are more bothersome to Floyd than guys that don't pressure (and nobody say Gatti or Corrales because you have to throw punches to be a pressure fighter). Chavez, Hernandez, and Castillo all pressured Floyd and those were his toughest fights. I still favor him against Margario it just is much more interesting and logical (taking care of biz at 147) than fighting Spinks.

but thats the point spinks went up to 154 and WON (against a guy that i would take over marg anyday)something that marg failed to do. this forum and alot of the delusional fans and or floyd haters really brainwashed alot you guys into believing that marg is this big scary guy that noone wants to face and it's just ridiculous.

But like we always say styles make fights. I think Margarito would fare very well against Karmazin. He probably wouldn't do well against Spinks although I think eventually he could KO him. Margarito is a big scary guy, he just doesn't have the pure boxing skills of a Floyd Mayweather. His advantage is his size, power, and punch output. And we aren't talking about Margarito or Spinks at 154, we are discussing Margarito at 147 or Spinks at 154. At 147 Margarito hasn't been beaten in 10 years while Spinks has lost 3 times. You can say competition but 2 of the 3 losses were against guys that Margarito beat (Diaz) or could beat easily (Picirillo).

I don't know if the $8M was really there or it was just talk. PBF didn't call his bluff. Now PBF will fight the unexciting Stinks for far less money.

Arum is a PR genius for this. He can now hype Margarito as the dangerous fighter that PBF wouldn't fight for $8M.

Simple question, do you know and understand what a promoter does?
What he is suppose to do to promote his fighters and make big buck?

WRONG.. you did hear this when Bob was his promoter... in fact he offered Floyd 7 mil to fight MARG and Floyd fought Sharmbay for 4 MIL INSTEAD. Floyd had FOUGHT two more TIMES when this article and offer were made while Bob was STILL his promoter..

And what would you have said if Floyd had fought Antonio Margarito back in 2005? Back when Margarito was unknown to everyone outside of boxing fans in Tijauna. You would've bitched about how he was ducking Zab Judah and Ricky Hatton.
