Fury still won that fights 10 -2 in rounds.

It was only the cuts that made the contest look closer. How close the fight was to getting stopped i couldnt say but Fury totally dominated the fight...

That and the fact that Wallin hurt Fury badly in the 12th and if he was more seasoned he could have finished him.

Before the fight I didn't know much of Wallin he was supposed to fight on ShoBox and I think something happened with his opponents twice so I never got to see him live but I saw highlights of him before the fight and saw he had a good jab and a good straight left hand not too many skilled southpaws at Heavyweight so that is going to give any fighter problems.

I don't think he is the greatest but he definitely has skills and he showed them against Fury you all can say that Fury fights to competition but he got cut and touched up a lot in that fight and even staggered just give Wallin his credit for showing up that night and showing he has skills to at least compete. That fight was not 10-2 either more like 8-4.

Fury won and showed toughness that was a nasty cut not saying he deserved to lose but he had a competitive fight with an unknown fighter who became more known because of it happens all the time. I'd like to see Wallin vs Ortiz or Martin good southpaws match ups.

That would be a nice progression of opposition - Hughie, Breazeale, Kuzmin, Jennings, etc. Someone of that ilk. I think Wallin is decent we just need to figure out where exactly he belongs within the division. If he wins then a Rivas, Ortiz, Whyte.

Fury may have come in flat and the cut certainly played a huge factor but the cut was from a punch and it wasn't the first that Otto landed clean in that fight. I thought Fury won most of the rounds but I recall the rounds being fairly close and grueling for both men.

Fury fight came too early for Wallin. From Granat and Kisner to Fury is a huge step. Wallin has never even fought fringe contenders.

He should fight some Kuzmin, Hammer level guys to find out where he belongs.
