Yeah except it was Mikey himself that said he saw something in Spence that he could exploit. I'm still waiting to see what he saw.

so the pbc business strategy is to go out and look for basic and average fighters. skip over anybody who could be really good.
they want pbc to represent sorry guys. that what's they are looking for. that's how you make money. go get the basic average guys on purpose then put them on ppv in big coliseums

I would really like to see this fight. Very interesting matchup. Gotta lean to LSC. Good chin, very smart and enjoys his trade..

tank wont make weight and santa cruz has only had 2 fights at 130 against bums. not saying he doesnt have a chance because tank looks overrated as hell but at the same time santa cruz has absolutely no power and wont win a decision against the next "star"

Kind of how I see it as well. There are different motivators for fighters and LSC certainly doesn't seem to be fighting to establish his legacy or reputation as a fighter. When I first heard of this, I suspected it was a cash out with built in excuse (similar to Mikey Garcia or Kell Brook or Khan vs Canelo, TBH). If they lose can just blame it on the size differential.

That is the key factor. It would need to be at 130. If tank can make weight that should take something from him especially in late rounds.
