I think he would hit almost no harder and be much slower with much less stamina. Every boxer has an idea weight where they combine the most speed, power and stamina. Just putting on fat or excess muscle above that ideal weight doesn't help a boxer, it hurts him. GGG is a middleweight or at most a super middleweight not a 220 pound heavyweight. Bad idea.

Most boxers typically compete at their leanest bodyweight which is not necessarily their strongest.Odds are he would hit noticeably harder than he does at MW because without all the cardio and running dude would probably be closer to 190.

All that said he may have a tremendous punch on him but not like a heavyweight puncher. Even Jonathan Banks would probably state that Wladimir Klitschko's power is far greater than Golovkins or anyone else that is not a heavyweight. Just way too much natural size difference.

yes but in training off camera only, he did indeed knock out top CWs and HWs.

however in the ring his power did not trouble top contenders in his own division, nor top guys from the division below eg Canelo.

You mean going to war and bruised by Rosado yet Angulo dismantled Gabe? Keep in mind Abel always boasts that Angulo was the best sparring GGG ever had...

Or how about the 11 Round Murray fight?!
