Would GGG punching power transition to the heavyweight division?

How hard would Gennady Golovkin hit if gained 40 lb and fought as a heavyweight?

No. It didn't even transition once he started fighting better opposition at middleweight.

His power wasn’t anything special against top 160lbers but an obese GGG is supposed to affect heavyweights?

if he just put on 40lbs lol...like it's no big deal. he's got good power at mw, but not really exceptional. at hw he'd be vastly undersized, so it's hard to imagine just good mw power translating to anything but sub-par hw power.

He never hurt a meaningful Middleweight in his entire career. Cant imagine he'd be any good at even 168 let alone anything higher

Once he lost the speed and snap on his punches that he had when he was younger, he wasn't the same puncher. Had he been 30 when he got the fights he did at 35+ years old, we would've seen much different outcomes. But no it wouldn't transition; it would slow him down too much. He's naturally heavy handed but you still need speed and reflexes.
