    Lol!!

I'm the same way. Being from Texas, we also have no State income Tax.

I too tend to forget not all States are that way.

Who pays the sparring partners. The boxer or trainer?

I remember colby covington saying that after paying his taxes, trainers, etc. He pocketed 5k from his 20k fight purse. Uncle sam always takes his cut.

The two best states to live in. Texas is a goldmine. I found that out when I was in the army. Most people leave Miami for Georgia. I always tell them thats pointless. Texas is the last great land of opportunity and affordable real estate.

My opinion fighters should get rid of Mangers they take to much a trainer in the Amateurs Your trainer matches you . You should sign with a promoter you yourself can dictate who to fight let’s say you just turned pro you and your trainer can say give me 10 bums and video footage of the fighters . It’s not rocket science in who to fight and who to avoid until you and your trainer feel ready

No one is removing your post 😂 . Managers start out with the boxers whether at lower or high level, for most high level boxers they start of at the low end. Unless you are Amir Khan, Lomachenko, Ward, Joshua who all had olympics pedigree beforehand. That’s why Floyd Mayweather needed Arum to pay James prince 600k as his manager or he would have hurt Mayweather back in those days.

This is the best advice so far, if you can get a trainer who has links and can be your manager too then you have cut one person out of the team. Jay deas for Wilder was his manager/trainer. But he has to bring Breland and Finkel in because Jay didn’t have the links or the world class connection to boxing in the beginning.

You can always do it the RJJ way too, or the David Haye way too. It’s just you would probably struggle for like 3-4 years due to the politics. If you are head strong then you would get there, most of these managers are leeches.

It depends how smart the boxer is and what kind of team they have around them. If they have a smart team I imagine they could keep a decent chunk. However I am guessing that most fighters would only get 500K and possibly less. There are a lot of shady promoters/managers in the sport who rip off fighters.

We don’t pay any property tax in Louisiana other than real estate taxes, but I know what you mean. I grew up in CT and they tax annually damn near everything you buy.
