Pacquiao definitely read Mayweather's comments out of context. Pacquiao has hidden issues with Mayweather and will look for any little comment to take a jab back at Mayweather. It's starting to make Pacquiao look bad. As soon as one of these young guns knock out Pacquiao, he won't be talking much anymore.

I haven't seen Floyd's statement so I can't get the context of it but from reading this article What he says actually makes sense and I see it as a complement to Pacman. The young guys should get it on and Pacman should rightly pick and choose one of them, he's built up the reputation to do that..

And Manny's azz got triggered anyway...

      You guys, come on.

Manny is just trying to make sure that his steady stream of young guys keeps calling him out. He doesn't WANT those guys to fight each other instead of him, he wants to fight the young and untested before they take a loss. That's the only reason he really accepted to fight Horn - and it didn't work out well because even though he wasn't subject to drug testing, neither was Horn, and Manny didn't count on that effect.

Manny got upset because Floyd's comments could cost him easy paydays if guys listen to him.

In retrospect, he was right to reject the $40 million flat fee (and should have countered with a percentage split), but accepting the offer would have been a major psychological blow to Mayweather. Just like when Wilder accepted the $15 million flat fee to fight Joshua, with the only caveat that the fight be next and that there be a two-way rematch clause since he was a champion before Joshua and Fury. Hearn and Joshua were so shocked they came up with the WBA mandatory excuse and the Joshua buzz has been on the slide ever since.

I believe Pacquiao would have forced Mayweather to another level and I believe he STILL would have beaten him. Pacquiao cheated himself out of a great legacy win and boxing fans would have been blessed with a trilogy of fights between the two.
Floyd offered him a 50/50 split back then. The $40 million flat fee came later after Pac and Top Rank had dicked around too much.

I think Floyd would have been too much for him no matter when they fought.

He didn’t have to call him envious but then he also wants a payday. He won’t stop trying to get the Mayweather fight until Mayweather’s dead because no one pays like Mayweather. If he has to call him jealous that’s what he will do.

Floyd definitely has a way of making his opponents beyond bitter after he defeats them. Pacquiao is the latest one added to the list. Oscar is still at the very top of that list though. It’s like Floyd lives inside his head rent free. Lol

Exactly. Manny is just begging again. Been begging since 2009 and its 2020 now. I'd hate Floyd's guts too lmao

It's because he backs up whatever he says...Floyd wasn't just beating guy's with 4 or 5 fans behind them. He was beating guys with entire countries behind them. Guys. that trash talked him for years and had their countrymen believing in them like superman. Once Floyd embarrassed them in the ring. The mental agony is too much.

I think now, Manny realizes that "well hell, I beat Keef, I'll just keep beating these guys that have an '0' and make money that way" which is the only reason there's chatter about a Crawford fight.

What would really make Manny upset though, is if Floyd trained Devin Haney enough to beat Manny. Imagine that fallout
