I agree with Shawn Porter. I believe the reason why he's for Manny is because IMHO Pacquiao has won titles in 8 different weight divisions and nobody is even close in matching or beating it. Also, Manny is undoubtedly an outstanding citizen in his own country compared to Floyd who has issues of domestic violence and that's highly unacceptable in my book.

Just like the Floyd fans, their more delusional than pac man fans. Mannys fights were very entertaining while Floyd was not exciting. Manny took risks while Floyd took the ez way.

Floyd facing Marquez wasn't a threat, even though he schooled him 3 yrs before he knocked pac out? So he shouldn't have been a threat to pac either then. Floyd facing a 23 yr old Canelo when he was 36 wasn't a threat, so then we can safely say that pac fighting guys like ríos, algieri and vargas weren't true threats either. Right? Just want to make sure that we're being consistent.you should be ashamed for even mentioning this fight. Floyd make jmm go up 2 divison and cheated him during weigh in, jmm is bloated and so small compared to him and he isn'tunser memo yet. Clenelo?
a weightdrained clenelo who is so slow and green. They are the safest and no threat path but atleast high reward oh yeah that's floyd style..

I guess the question really should be phrased this way to Porter, current and former fighters, fans, and boxing media and experts.
“Would the best career be someone who took the least amount of physical and brain damage in history, retired undefeated, won (15) major world titles in (5) different weight classes, won countless awards such as best fighter of the decade, P4P best fighter, fighter of the year, fighter of the 21st century, 26 consecutive wins in world title fights, 23 wins in lineal title fights, 24 wins against former or current world titlists, 12 wins against former or current lineal champions, and (8) wins against current or future International Boxing Hall of Fame inductees, all the while generated approximately 24 million PPV buys and $1.67 billion in revenue throughout your career, surpassing the likes of former top PPV attractions Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao?Last edited by markther; 05-24-2020, 09:20 PM.

I’d prefer to see a Mayweather fight over a wild portable Porter bum rush spectacle any day!
Like Spence said, Porter is “an in shape street fighter.” The most casual boxing fan can pick up on Porters emotional body language in the ring: turn into a steam engine and run your opponent over, throw punches if necessary! In boxing is that entertaining? it’s more of a ‘entertaining’ spectacle than anything.
In his fights, you simply wonder, “will the wildness be enough” to pull out a win.....To be fair, he fought Danny with more poise than usual. A good solid win - if I remember correctly.
Pacquiao* was fun to watch, even with his so-called fear of needles and contradictions in his declarations. But to me, Mayweather still tops the bill. The guy was special in the ring, and I rooted for him every time!! Outside the ring? He has a lifetime to grow. And I wish him the absolute best!

[QUOTE=Jab jab boom;20577267]Originally posted by Mario g View Postsorry but as a fan who has rooted for and against both pac and mayweather, nobody is more delusional than pac fans in boxing. Nobody. It's known on this site that I think most Canelo fans are delusional, but pac fans still take the cake. Let me take your comment for example, you said pac took risks while Floyd didn't... It's known that Floyd faced better versions of Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, and Mosley than pac did.... So by your logic pac didn't take risks when he fought those same guys.
