Stevenson shouldn’t under any circumstances be considered a “big star”. (I’m not implying that you said that...) Who has he fought and beaten to warrant such a distinction? If anything, hopefully this COVID thing brings some sanity back to the fight game because a serious re-ordering needs to take place in terms of money and matchmaking. Guys like Stevenson and Haney get maneuvered into these “champions” designations, and suddenly they are too big to fail. Watch and see - a lot of these guys are gonna wake up at 30 years old like Terrance Crawford, and have virtually nobody on their resumes, and they’ll only have themselves to blame. Lots of “what could have beens” are on the horizon, I fear....

I know man... let's rewind back to the four kings -
By the time Ray Leonard was 31 he had beaten four all time greats, and that was with his 3 year medical hiatus.
One can never say any of those cats wasted their primes by waiting for some mega pay day that might never come.
I'll be the first to admit I'm not the biggest Canelo fan around here, but like Oscar before him, the dude never ducked anyone.

Once again, the UFC embarrasses boxing and once again Top Rank's ESPN venture has been an utter failure.

Bob Arum is putting Shakur Stevenson with over matched opponent as an ESPN main event LOL.
