Is the next Tommy Morrison training MMA right now?

Morrison was a white boy who grew up in the south and took up boxing. Does that type of kid exist anymore? Are they all getting into wrestling or MMA more likely these days.

Is that why there hasn't been a great white american heavyweight since?

The next Tommy Morrison is a lineman in the NFL.

That's what big kids in America do. Play football.

He'd probably be more likely to play baseball than box

I don’t see any dominant white Americans in the UFC.

Its not like boxing was full of white American HWs before the UFC came around, it hadnt been for like half a century already by that point. Wrestling was the American white guy combat sport. Tommy wasnt anything special either, he was a big puncher with decent marketing but he was kind of a glass cannon and his skillset outside of his power wasnt elite.

There are about 1000 pro mma fighters and about 20000 pro boxers so no the mma is not stealing talent from boxing and neither is football or basketball. each sport is different. if a guy has the natural talent and desire and will power to be a great boxer then he will become one. If he doesn't then he won't. This guy is young and white and a fighter but is a different person and not Morrison.
