Isn’t all of that irrelevant though? A KD isn’t nullified just because a fighter gets hit while off balance. That was a perfectly clean, perfectly legitimate KD. No gift at all to Linares.

My point about the gift is that it will not happen again no matter how hard Linares tries. The KD was valid yes but you can guarantee Loma has learned his lesson and will make sure his foot does not land on his opponent. Linares was much taller and has a naturally longer stance and loma being a shorter guy this could have been something he has never experienced before.

Sorry, but neither Lomachenko nor his most ardent fan can GUARANTEE that he never gets tagged or dropped again - or that he never accidentally steps on his opponent's foot. Such an odd assertion to make.

True which is why I nor Loma has not made that claim. If you are implying that I said this go back and read what I said again. I can guarantee you that Loma has learned his lesson. My point still stands in that Loma will not get dropped by Linares again at least not in the same way he was dropped the first time. That punch landed very clean and flush and Loma did not even blink at it he was right back up and fine.
