Only those blinded by nostalgia and media hype think past eras were any better than this one.

Tell me again how great post jail Ali, half blind Frazier, and green easily gassed Foreman were.

This era of HWs wouldn't allow him to but people definitely love to overglorify the good old days. Some of the tomato cans Ali, Mike, Holyfield etc. Fought probably wouldn't even be sanctioned today. I guess the only difference is guys were fighting 3-4x a year. So a couple cans and a big fight somewhere in the mix was cool. I honestly wish fighters would get away from this 1-2x a year crap we get now.

Problem is boxers & promoters nowadays are too greedy. More greedy than ever. Everyone wants too much money to do anything. Hence why you're only seeing these guys once, twice if you're lucky

He could be, but lets be realistic. These heavyweights are super heavyweights. They need to be in their own division. Of course the old heavyweight greats like Ali, Frazier, rock, liston, Tyson, holyfield would struggle because they would be giving up 4-6 inches in height and 30 - 40 plus pounds to these guys now.
Not saying they couldn't beat these guys but its a different time and breed of fighters. Think of comparing any other sport now to the players back in the 60s 70s 80s..

If Ali was the same height and weight proportion to fury Ali would destroy fury in his prime. Hell mike tyson at 5 10 almost 5 11 wouldn't be able to touch a 6 9 fury would keep him on the outside the whole time.

It's time for boxing to add a new division. Guys like AJ fighting Povetkin is laughable. But it shows the skills of those like Ruiz to beat AJ or does it show the lack of heart or defense boxing technique of AJ? That's why i can't understand the butt love for AJ when he's beating up old 38+ year old fighters that are 4-6 inches shorter and 30 + pounds lighter...smh. But then you get nimrods saying he beat klitschko. Yeah when he was 40 and had almost 2 years out of the ring.

Look AJ is a good fighter for his time but he hasn't fought wilder or fury and those are the bench marks. Not Povetkin, Hakim, Parker and other journeymen. I know i know.. You cucks will say what about wilder? What about wilder? Wilder might have lost to fury but he isn't afraid to fight the best unlike AJ who is determined to "freeze out " wilder and avoid him. OR avoid an old man in Ortiz.

Fury isn't afraid to fight anyone either. At least we'll get to see the 2 best heavyweights go at it again.

You lunatics are so predictable. Post is about Fury but you went on rambling like a rabid dog about AJ. Funny your rant is about Josh but you somehow omitted the bum Wilder.

LMAOOO at Fury would fight anyone. I guess that’s why he has been fighting the likes of Seferi, Schwarz and Wallin since he came back. Delusional pea-sized brain muppet.

Fury doesn’t have the resume to be the best ever. His resume is just too thin.

Just take a look at the top 10 and he has only fought Wilder. You can’t be the greatest by being an opportunist.

Anyway, I don’t think Fury is going to last long. He’s going to get knocked out brutally soon once he gets in the ring with someone he can’t get to mentally and can throw decent hooks that are well timed. Fury is too clumsy to be at the top for too long.

Beating 40 yr old Wlad in the most boring title fight of all time; beating no skills Wilder and still being almost knocked out, and potentially beating muscle bound AJ, who got thrashed by a taco munching dough boy, doesn't earn GOAT in my books

Tyson's drug violations of steroid and ******* abuse, ban from the sport and all the cheating he has perpetrated, rules him out of any serious GOAT conversation. Can you have any respect for the late great Muhammad Ali if he spent his time hitting a crack-pipe?

Typical cumdumpster flamer. Didn't realize mentioning your love boy AJ would get your panties all bunched up...lol. We are free to mention and talk about anything. If you don't like, don't read it and if it offends you find a safe space.

Those were warm up fights fury took. The guy rushed into fighting wilder. He wasn't really in boxing shape. He just lost a ton of weight before those fights. Massive difference from then and now but i cant expect a r3t@rd like you to comprehend.
