Both men are modern greats, Barrera too.
I certainly do not rate Julio Cesar Chavez at all, he never fought anybody at elite level until he had 87 fights and got gifted a draw. Following that, every win against a named fighter was robluck. He lost to everyone world class from there. Lots of fights yes but great, absolutely not.
Morales however, is slightly confused about where and when who was at what level, naseem hamed avoided Marquez on the back end of his career when the Mexicans expressed an interest. Also, look how Marquez recovered during the Pac-Man first fight and dominated, not the actions of a newbie Erik my ole fruit gum.

I like how pacquiao is described as the devil.

Morales stayed clear off of Marquez and that’s a fact.

Does anyone think Morales would've beaten Pacquiao if Marquez got knocked out in the first fight on round 1?

Since Marquez survived and ended up doing so well after that first round, it pretty much gave Morales the blue print for the first fight with Pacquiao, thoughts?

Agreed. Prime for prime both Eric and Marco would've been able to beat Marquez and then Marquez would've had some excuse that he was robbed.

Marquez was just the Metallo to Pacquiao's Superman. Metallo is nothing great, but you put him in with Superman and all of a sudden he does look great

                  That would make it 114-113.

                  I had it 114-113 pacquiao.
6 rounds a piece. Marquez losing a point for getting dropped.

I had marquez winning 3 out of 4 fights tho
First fight I had it 7 rounds to 5 Marquez but point total was 113-112 Pacquiao

2nd fight I had it 6-6 with point total 114-113 for Pacquiao

                  3rd fight I had it 7-5 115-113 for Pacquiao

4th fight 3-2 for Pacquiao before the knock out. Can't help but think if Pacquiao never got knocked out in those last seconds of the 6th, how much Marquez had left in him. Marquez took big hits in the 5th and 6th rounds, just wondered if Pacquiao would've let round 6 end how 7 and the rest would've looked(if Marquez didn't get stopped himself which it was looking like), but again none of that matters for that 4th fight, just too bad he had to get enhancements for 2 fights to finally do it in one. A shame too he took his ball and left after given opportunity after opportunity when there really was no Marquee win to justify deserving a shot(got shut out by the woman beater *Floyd and then pretty much just defeated the likes of baby bulls and katsidis type fighters and somehow that allowed for a fight with the A side of boxing?)

I always thought man, it must be a b*tch having to fight Pacquiao in his prime.

Boxers informed to fight PAC probably thinking “*****” man. PAC cuts out work for any of his go’s. Probably such a pain in the rear just having to go 12 rounds with the guy, let alone beating him.

PAC was a tough job for anybody.

Then, why did Mayweather sign Pac up with PBC? Didn’t he think Pac was on PEDs and he wants to clean up boxing? Paying Pac to settle the defamation lawsuit and signing Pac up with PBC proved he was just fabricating his accusations, right?
