  • Comments Thread For: McGregor on Mayweather: Early Rounds All Mine, Later Rounds I Outlanded Him

UFC superstar Conor McGregor is still pushing the idea that a rematch will take place with five division world champion Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather snapped a two-year retirement back in August of 2017, when he stopped McGregor in the tenth round of a cross-sport boxing match from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

      Stopped reading at 'stunning defeat.'

Was more scripted than a 1980's TV advert for ferrero rocher...

Can’t blame him for trying to get the fight. He wants another $100 million and honestly who wouldn’t want that again?

If you won the lottery once and you know that there’s a very high possibility of winning it again, wouldn’t you play it again?

Someone asked Billy Conn why he didn't just box and not try to go for the KO, since he was well ahead in the fight, b4 being KO'd himself by the great Joe Louis. His reply was-"What's the sense in being Irish if you can't he ******?"
This definitely applies to Conor if he really thinks Floyd wasn't carrying him. Many times in the fight, I saw Floyd throw punches in Conors direction, clearly missing on purpose, to the point that it made me laugh. Conor is not evasive at all in the boxing ring, very predictable in his attack, runs the same tired combinations. Yea he slapped Paulie around, but Paulie is a bird, who has been legally blind, with no tastebuds, and no control of his bowels and his bladder ever since shawn porter took 10 years off his life with that attempted murder(which he somehow was never prosecuted for), so that doesn't count. Conor is delusional

i take it you'll be buying the ppv then,
don't worry this time he'll be up 7 rounds before he's dispatched so start saving up for their 3rd rematch.

They should of employed a referee that was not going to stop the fight 'Until Mcgregor was down for the count of 10'.

Floyd fought the first 3 rounds differently because he was trying to see what he could and couldnt do. Connor - who has never been a boxer - handled himself well for 3 rounds against an ATG.

                    That was impressive by Connor
