If being a fan means closing your eyes to FACTS, i'd rather just pick another sport to follow.

As time passes people's memories cloudy. To say he was a no one in 96 is bananas. Olympic gold medallist, already been a WC, himself and Holyfield were the biggest names along with Tyson obviously.Who are these other big names you think Tyson should have fought in 96?. Never heard any real talk of a Tyson Bowe fight so that was not gonna happen. Lewis was avoided like the plague if truth be told. I get it though, he's the biggest threat so make as much cash as possible before you step up. I'm glad it happened the way it did anyway. Tyson Holyfield 1 was one of my best nights.

Ok I don’t remember him being a name but ok if you say so I’ll give it to you because you seem to remember.
I believe Tyson saw Holyfield as the bigger name and more money where Lewis champ or not he was not as recognizable as Holyfield there for it would make more sense fighting him instead of Lewis
You can call it a duck if you want but you can’t deny that holy was a bigger name especially here in the state’s and we are the ones that drive the sport sorry but it’s true
I personally think that Tyson would have knocked out Lewis because Lewis got better and smarter with age.
High risk low reward is maybe why Tyson ducked him. Again I never said Tyson didn’t duck him

Well I remember him taking the Holyfield fight as everyone thought he was washed up. Obviously a huge fight regardless. Holyfield was my favourite HW at the time anyway.

I agree that USA is where it's at in boxing. I used to be a big fan of Joe calzaghe till he wasted his best years fighting no hopers in the UK.

Omg calslappy had some great home cooking. I was watching a YouTube clip of worst stoppages and he had like 8 fights on there and all were bad. That dude was underrated though cause he wasn’t American

Why would Brits travel all the way to see a man who bought home Olympic gold for...Canada?
