Maidana got $3 million for the Floyd rematch.

That's what these guy should realistically be expecting. Instead they want to break the bank.

People were lining up to fight Mayweather so he had tons of options. That’s not the case with Canelo.

who said I want the fight? I'm just letting you know how A side fighters or their promotors operate. Now if you want to talk specifically about the only boxer in the world that you care about, he or his team applied the strategies I mentioned in one way or another when it came to their negotiations with Ggg, Chavez Jr, Jacobs, fielding, Kovalev, Smith, Saunders and plant.

They should make a canelo-benevidez fight, I don’t see any of the other champions at 168 giving canelo a good fight. Plant has the right style to give canelo fits but has an untested chin and most likely wouldn’t be able to dissuade canelo from walking him down and smith had a hard time with Ryder.

Canelo has a ton of options too.

He has 3 weight classes to choose from.

Good luck to him with that. If you’re getting chump change then you might as well face someone less dangerous.

Who in their right mind is going to take a Canelo fight for peanuts knowing they will have to KO him to win? Could use his head as a speed bag for 12 rounds and you’ll still lose.
