Canelo fans are at it again. No one is allowed to negotiate with their hero! If a boxer negotiates with Canelo, he’s a dummy and a coward!

They say this as almost all of Canelo’s recent opponents have negotiated a better deal with his team before taking the fight. The Canelo fan base is the dumbest fan base I’ve ever seen.

There's a popular technique utilized these days with A side fighters... Make low ball offers, ask for catch weights and or rehydration clauses, propose fights on short notice, etc. If the fighter accepts, they're at your mercy financially and physically. If they decide to advocate for themselves against these tactics, you tell the world you oferred them the fight but they declined. Your gullible fan base will either be too ****** or too blinded by love to see the truth and will hail you as a king who is willing to take on all comers but is feared by others.
