I think this will be a great fight, but it's clear Povetkin's chin is weakening, and whilst he could get a tired Whyte out of their in the later rounds 10-12, I think Whyte will close the show around 7-8.

Well i give him props that his not afraid of fights like this when his a WBC mando , Povetkin struggle vs gigants but his very dengerous and can pack a punch , this leaping hook of his is nasty.

Whyte needs to keep his defence very tight early doors, can't be gifting Povetkin hooks like he did Chisora. Also needs to take note that Povetkin can no longer box 3 minutes of every round but I can imagine Povetkin starting fast for this one, bit like the AJ bout.

This might be the fight that finally derails Whyte. Regardless of some of my critiques of the guy it's impossible to argue he's not got the best overall resume of a non-title holder at HW win or lose vs Povetkin so fair play to him for still taking this fight with the crazy sh^t going down these days.

I lean slightly towards Whyte for this one but it feels very 50/50ish. Povetkin's sell by date being well past 2020 is probably the biggest factor in my lean towards Whyte. Should be a fun one whatever happens & maybe one of the best potential fights we will see for awhile I'd guesstimate.

Povetkin is an aging yesteryear midget fighter in today's era of giants. And he is no Foreman or Klitschko or Lewis. FFS, Povetkin couldn't even KO Hunter in their last fight who's more of a lightweight. Actually, Hunter rocked and roughed him up in the first few rounds. Imagine what any real HW would do to him.
