    google Mr Olympia Lee Haney

if he had faith in his skills alone he wouldn't be associating with mr haney and co.

In this place, I reserve my time for actual boxing fans. Not casuals who have a name that suggests they care more about the quarrels promoters get into than the actual fights.

apologies for stealing your words but 'casuals' like yourself are unfortunately oblivious to the 'quarrels' and greed of the promoters that subsequently prevent the actual fights we want to see from happening hence that is why mma has eclipsed boxing.

          p.s good attempt at deflecting.

That is a big reason he is #3 on my all time great heavyweight champion’s list. You could literally take Evander and match him with Jim Jeffries, Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, Max Baer, Joe Louis, Jersey Joe Walcott, Ezzard Charles, Floyd Patterson, Ingemar Johansson, Sonny Liston, Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier etc....and interstingly enough, Evander actually went 15 with the Camden Buzzsaw and fought older versions of Holmes and Foreman.

Holyfield beats him, especially if evander chose to brawl rather than try to box at long and mid range like so many Johnson opponents

The man is one of the sports ultimate warriors and the skill is off the charts. I know for a fact you guys haven’t seen more than a few of his fights because if you had, you’d have more respect for him.
I realised early in posting here that most of these folks have zero knowledge of boxing history. If you go back
More than 10 years most people here won’t recognise any names

I know all about boxing politics. Why bother learning them though if you don’t watch the fights? Nerd alert. Nerd alert. Whewwhewwhew. Ha.
Ask anyone here if they think I’m a casual. I’m very obviously not. You on the other hand, no one knows who you are or cares.

In the no roid era's I'm not so sure. He would run out of gas easy. Sorry but this guy's career is a big asterisk just like Barry Bonds and Mark McGuire.
