The bigger names do. Loads of world champions earn considerably less than 7 figures though.

And you don't think that's killing boxing?

I think UFC fighters should be paid more by the UFC but even mid-level stars in the UFC like Jorge Masvidal and Colby Convington have much bigger social media presences and name recognition than these mid-level boxers who are making more in purses but can walk down the street without anyone giving them a second glance.

Nate Diaz and Masvidal probably combined made 10x less than Canelo but they got his fight pushed back to 1:30 am eastern.

This is a perfect time to showcase non big names. It not like there are many upcoming boxers that sell out stadiums so I dont get it. Boxing has done studio fights with series like the contender so I am sure it can be done.

I hate mma and am not fan of White because of my personal bias. But he looks smart and everyone else looks dumb here.
I agree bro I dont like Dana White but no one can deny he grinds hard and gets shat done! unlike Arum and Top Rank and all their fanboys on this site who swear he can't do no wrong!

Agreed. The UFC have got it made with their business model. They just got 700k+ PPV buys out of a card where the main event fighters got a combined purse of $850k, for comparisons sake Spence and Garcia got $3m each for a PPV fight that did 375k buys...
