      This is true.

Closest were probably Archie and Peyton Manning

Bobby and Barry Bonds are worth mentioning but..you know.

I think in sports where technique is a dominant factor, it happens more than people think. There are large numbers of cases where sporting fathers appear to have coached their sons to elite levels. Three-time all-star Ken Griffey brought up his son in the ways of the ashen bat and he became a hall of famer. Johan Cryuff's son ended up playing for Manchester United. Hall of famer Vladimir Guerrero's son Vlad Jr is considered the number one prospect in the Toronto Blue Jays organisation, despite being a lump. Frank Lampard Sr was capped for England and his son is one of the most accomplished players in the history of the English premier league. Graham Hill is the only man ever to win the triple crown of motorsport and his son Damon had 22 wins in Formula 1, including a whole championship. Similarly Keke Rosberg was a F1 championship winner and his son, Nico Rosberg, won the F1 championship and then promptly retired.

That said, I think it's kind of rare in boxing. Although skills and technique are hugely important in boxing -- and having a parent who can coach that from an early age is clearly an advantage -- there is also a certain dynamic required to create someone who is willing to get punched in the head for a living, which is less likely to be present in the offspring of a successful boxer.

We do have, however, examples of sons of boxing coaches who go on to great things. Calzaghe and Lomachenko, for example.

I’d also challenge him to a spelling bee.

I guess I will give you Kobe and Gronk.
Kobe's mom's brother is Chubby Cox, who used to play in the NBA, so I wouldn't be surprised of she has some athletic genes as well

Lotsa mfers with non-legend dad's surpassed their dads. That's common. When you got a legend/hof dad your odds of surpassing, duplicating or coming close to that level are some struck by lightning in the **** type odds.

                      Lot to live up yo

Even if he only ends up 50 per cent of what his dad was he will still become a very good boxer and potential world champion.
