How is Szeremeta the #6 ranked middleweight according to the ring? Propaganda???

He wasn't in the top 10 at the end of 2018, no one even knew who he was. Plus, he's faced no one of note. We all know the Ring magazine is full of GGG fanboys on the voting panel. Dougie, Montero, etc. The usual losers who always have an agenda to push.

It was revealed GGG was going to fight this guy immediately after he got a gift against chenko, so what does the Ring do? Magically insert Szeremeta at #6 for their year end list. Its just a way for these GGG fanboys to make his resume look better.

Really pathetic stuff and its clear propaganda. The media continues to work overtime to prop up GGG.

Doesn't matter what they have him ranked, it's the IBF that matters. Those "fanboys" aren't mandating fights because...wait for it...they're writers.

You're missing the point. I know he's ranked in the IBF and I'm not talking about that.

My point is that these writers at Ring Magazine are using their fanboyism to come up with these rankings. Szeremeta wasn't in the top 10 at the end of 2018, faced no one of note, but suddenly gets ranked at #6 by Ring Magazine when it's revealed GGG wants to fight him ?

Yea, no wonder why the Ring has lost credibility.

Why are Americans so obsessed with Golovkin? Its got that Pac hate vibe about it.

This thread mentions him more than the fighter it's meant to be about. By the thread maker. It's embarrassing.

Ring Magazine isn’t obsessed with GGG and biased towards him. The magazine is owned by Canelo Alvarez’s promoter. The Ring never even recognized GGG as middleweight champion.

Care to explain why Szeremeta somehow became a borderline top 5 middleweight in the world?

Us americans have become hip to the GGG propaganda for years, he's been shoved down our throats.

TBRB, the rankings system founded in fear that GBP would cause bias in the Ring rankings, has Szeremeta at number 7.

              They must love GGG too.

The ring never recognized him as the middleweight champion because he never beat the top guy in the weightclass, thats why. So it would've been impossible for them to rank him as their champion....

If you know anything about who's on the voting panel then you know what I'm talking about. Nothing but GGG fanboys like Dougie and montero.....

Do people actually care who they have ranked and where? They could have Kamil ranked #1 but most of us wouldn't care because we couldn't care less about this fight one way or the other. However high they decide to rank him doesn't mean he gains anything as a fighter. We don't need a magazine to tell us how to feel about any particular fighter and where they should be ranked.

For those wondering, Szeremeta debuted in the TBRB rankings at number 10 In July of 2019 after Andrade shut out Sulecki. Sulecki was dropped and Szeremeta replaced him. Szeremeta probably was placed there because he’s undefeated, holds the EBU title and has beaten some fighters who are on the fringe of being ranked.

He moved up to number 7 because N’Jikam and Brant lost badly and Lemieux moved up.

I’m sure something similar happened at the Ring.
