Why didn’t GGG fight Canelo the way Gassiev SMASHED Dorticos?

One of my favorite performances from WBSS was Gassiev vs Dorticos. Just straight Beast Mode. Hunting a big tall Dorticos the way Canelo walked Kovalev.

Umm. Cos Dorticos isn't an elite counterpuncher?

GGG did pretty much exactly what he should done, use what was working. It's a testament to Canelo's ability as a counterpuncher that Golovkin had few opportunities to mount a sustained attack. But then neither of em was just giving openings away... High level chess, man.

Gassiev and dorticos threw bombs at each other until one of them dropped. It was actually close nd it even looked like gassiev was going to get knocked out at certain times.

GGG hunted canelo in their first fight, but canelo didn't let ggg bully him, and gg was hesitant as F. GGG has never looked good against any elites he fought, and the amount of elites he fought is a pitifully small list (jacobs, chenko & canelo - arguably lost to jacobs/chenko, and truly lost to canelo).

You meant to say GGG arguably lost to pednelo, and won over derevechenko. He clearly beat Jacobs and canelo 1

He didn't "clearly" beat anyone, those were all razor close fights. Lets stop rewriting history now

HO Hum. Here we go again. Another day and another dozen threads from you and tag team partner John C trashing GGG and kissing Canelo's ass. Get a ***ing life, mayne. You must live on this boxing board because you are always on it with a ****** thread no matter when I visit.
