Mike was just being nice. We all knew Conor was never going to win but be didn't box well at all. His technique looked all jacked up. I think he even trained without a real boxing coach. Floyd definitely carried him til the 10th because he wanted to supply some value for the fans that bought the fight. I understand Conor did some amateur boxing back in the day, he probably could become a decent boxer if he shifted his focus to boxing full time but I thought Conor looked pretty bad overall

Floyd Mayweather is on record multiple times saying he knows he has zero chance of beating anyone in MMA let alone Connor.

Tyson's not hating, he knows boxing. Mayweather shouldn't have fought conservatively, but he did because he had some concern about McGregor's size and power. He shouldn't have but he did. Even at 40, Mayweather should have taken McGregor apart the way he did Gatti years before. Instead he made it kind of boring, the way he typically did through most of the back end of his career.
