I thought he easily beat Corrales as did many of us. Corales was a slow fighter with a big punch. Before Mayweather fought him fighters were beating him handedly up to the point he knocked him out. Watch Corrales-Robert Garcia. Garcia was out boxing him and in the corner he asked his trainer if he should knock him out. It was a mistake because Garcia went for the knockout and lost the title but if he kept boxing it would have been an easy fight.

oh without a doubt. corrales resume was pretty piss poor going into the fight which is probably why floyd took the fight. he had his biggest wins after floyd: casamayor, castillo, freitas. and yes he looked easily outboxable against garcia. people fail to remember those flaws sometimes, like when mosley ko'd margarito ok great win but he clinched more than wlad in that fight, and in the fight before he was being outboxed by ancient mayorga.

he was only a slight favorite against corrales to be fair. we went through it a lil while back and pac was underdog in like 6 fights. i only mention this because floyd fans/ggg haters used the "ggg was favorite in all his fights, he never took risks" argument but when you turn it around on them...

What u mean is that they are at their lowest physical condition and out of prime of their career when he face them and add the advantages he demanded on the list before the fight.
