Toney may have been 38 too. Though the point was that Bhop and Toney kept fighting past 40...Espinoza is a dork

Well, Tyson is what? 53 and people still want him back apparently. SO to answer that question, never.

His body cannot hold up to the pressure he puts on it, he has always trained like a machine he knows no other way, and his frame and hands are light boned.

Floyds entire skillset relies on speed and timing, the first things that erode in a fighter, Floyd can slow and gut it out in the trenches if he has to but not from choice.

Floyd is done as an elite boxer but not done making money with sideshows if people are going to pay for it.

Yeah, but its different for different fighters, some age out earlier and are done sooner:

    At 37:

SRL- in the middle of a long retirement, would comeback for just one more loss. Didnt win a fight after age 32

    Marvin Hagler-Long since retired

Michael Spinks- Retired for many years. Didn't even win a fight in his 30s

Muhammad Ali-Never won a fight at age 37 and older, only had two losses

    Lennox Lewis- Retired

I get it, we like to hope that boxers can go on for ever (and some do) but really after age 35 most fighters are just shells of what they once were. Thats why we rarely give credit for beating old man boxers (see Coming to America).
