Deontay Wilder demands $10million to step aside

Not unreasonable IMO.
In normal times I have no doubt the Saudi’s would gladly pay that or even double to get a heavyweight unification in their country.
The real question is would Uncle Al let Wilder fight on DAZN because that’s the only way he fights AJ if he beats Fury.
PBC doesn’t have the money or connection’s to pay what DAZN can secure for both sides.Comment

Hearn should buy the tab if he thinks AJ gets by Fury , if he thinks Fury defeats Wilder again then fork over 10 million, save Wilder for AJ . You get 2 guys for the price of one Wilder has to compensated for the fight so 10 million is actually a bargain the guy will just finagle out of an A.j fight so make sure he’s tied to the contract if he bails .Last edited by REDEEMER; 05-13-2020, 03:36 PM.Comment

If Hearn wants Tyson Fury vs Joshua then he will pay Deontay his step aside fee.
If Hearn isn't really serious about this then he should keep quiet and just wait for the contracted third fight between Fury and Wilder to take it's course.Comment

Whatever Wilder made for the second Fury fight, Hearn should match 'In step aside money'.
This behavior from Wilder does show me that? He is apprehensive about facing Fury in a immediate rematch 'Terrible fighter anyway'. Wilder needs to incessantly focus on improving his boxing skills, train as if he has zero punching power etc
Note: Just looked at the purse for their second fight, it was 5 Million 'So that is how much Eddie Hearn should offer Deontay Wilder'.Comment
