I know small and short can mean the same thing depending on what you refer to but I doubt you are actually claiming that Mike was a small HW. Mike is short for a HW sure but he was solid muscle from head to toe and weighed around 230 for his fights give or take. 230 is not small for a HW even by today's standards. But I would agree that he is short for a HW. But this fight is an exhibition bout and being done for charity, this is not a full sanctioned bout. They will most likely be using head gear and bigger gloves with more padding.

Mike was 216-218 lbs during his prime.

Regardless this was on a low bodyfat 5'10" frame.

Shannon Briggs would be perfect! I can see it now, The Grand Master Series for fighters over 50.

Briggs is only 48 and was winning fights as recently as 2016. He would obliterate Mike in 2020/2021.

Yeah ok Dana. I agree that Mike shouldn't return but I don't believe for a minute he's concerned about Mike's well being. It's not hard to determine White's true intentions: "Please Mike don't return to boxing. Please don't do it, you're 53, unless of course I can be involved and make money off your preposed return somehow."
