How good was prime Joan Guzman

I think he could have been special till he ate his way out of his division. I think Pacquaio/Guzman was a 50/50 ish fight

He was for a brief time getting some hype. But the disciple wasn’t there. We would never know how he would have flared if he had compete against the better fighters. He definitely would have got more shine nowadays. He had that flashy style that was pleasing to the eye.

I loved the way he fought..... Never forget how he jumped on Barrios wen they fought.

But it went downhill from the first fight with Faneka ( ik i spelled it wrong)

Outstanding talent just liked his food a bit too much and was very avoided in his prime.

I think only his lifestyle outside of the ring stopped him from being an ATG.
He truly was exceptional at his best and could have been talked about as one of the greats sadly despite being a two weight world champion (or was it 3?) he'll likely be regarded as one of the biggest underachievers in boxing.

I think he should be spoken about as having some of the fastest hands, the best reflexes and the likes because of how badly he underachieved he tends to be a bit forgotten.

I think he might even be the biggest waste of talent ever he's certainly up there and I don't mean that as a knock more that is how highly I thought of him.

Just didn't have the discipline to make weight - shame, cuz he was a special talent. I saw him working a young fighters corner not too long ago( can't remember who...) Glad he's still in the game.

One of those real talented guys that did not have the discipline to fulfil his potential, been a lot that could have done more.
