IMO , you can’t Fugain judge a fight properly without being ringside
Funny though how some judges , even being ringside , can get the scores totally wrong

I remember people on this forum and elsewhere in the boxing world clamoring for remote judging for years. Now that it's actually proposed, everyone throws a hissy fit LOL. However, this isn't about stamping out corrupt scorecards.

Best idea in some time. This gives all of the judges the same angle (like in diving, gymnastics, etc.). It allows for QUALITY CONTROL. It eliminates the built in excuses for judges seeing it from a different angle. If there is a divergent scorecard (ahem..118-110 ms byrd...) then those judges can be excused from the occupation. If they are all such good judges, then they should be able to score the fight identically from identical vantage points. I have pushed this for years.

I’ve been saying the same for years too. Lock each judge in a separate back room with a member from the commission and sanctioning body and allow them to have access to instant playback and different camera angles. They’ll have a much better vantage point than being ringside, they won’t be influenced by the crowd and they'll have the ability to go back between rounds and double check anything they were unsure of from a different angle.

I guarantee Fury would be certified 2–0 over Wilder, instead of just by overwhelming consensus.

At least we will get two votes for it. Boxing has for far too long allowed this built-in excuse to allow a judge or two to be disconnected from reality. Also in my opinion, the judges need to see the same fight as the fans on TV. That lends credibility to the result, rather than trying to defend byrd, cj ross, etc.

This is going to create more problems.

Hell's no to this remote judging. Is sufficient the way the judges, judge fight and this come with more problems than fixes. Judges need something to block the fans and commentator sounds and voices. The only sound I want the judges to hear are the boxers.

Make it so when a judge hands in a questionable scorecard, they are sat in a room and forced to do a similar round by round breakdown for everyone to see. This idea is genius.

This I totally agree with
Judges should be held responsible for what scorecards they hand in
Not only so but also be held responsible to explain their cards as soon as the fight is over , especially when almost all feel something is up
This would save the bullchit threads we see over and over about the likes of Pac vs Floyd etc etc etc
It might sound like we are throwing the judges under the bus but I would be willing to believe that Adelaide Byrd would not hand in such cards much to hard to explain
It’s easy for the judge to hand in their scorecard but to explain it , that’s another matter
