And it is always the exact same postersNo, he can’t. Their racism is so ingrained that it’s subconscious/second nature. He casually disrespects a former fighter’s memory by pushing some unsubstantiated accusation just for the sake of doing it......yet has the nerve to accuse someone else of “race baiting”. You can’t even make it up.Comment

Yeah just tarnish the man name and legacy with hearsay and unsubstantiated bulll****zz... whatever he did he accomplished more in life than you ever will.Boxing didn’t hurt Roger, his drug habit and lack of discipline to deal with his diabetes ended his life early.
I worked with drug addicts at internship in college. Roger had all the telltale signs.
A former co worker saw Roger on the strip right after the Pacquiao fight. He wasn’t trying to hide what he was looking for.Comment

I think this is a v good point. Roger was a top fighter & coach. He achieved a helluva lot & deserves maximum respect. Bread did a good piece on him a couple of weeks ago.
Did he ever take intoxicants? I don't know. i never met him. I know I do & have done. I would hope any weaknesses I have in that area don't totally invalidate anything else I ever did.
I honestly don't know why folks, especially in the States, are so puritanical.Comment

Floyd Mayweather Jr. have spoken
Sorry, but Mayweather Jr. earned the right to do whatever he wishes for and his health is great. I know Mayweather Jr. annoy people for attention, but the man did all he wanted and I don't have a problem with his term of entertaining business. I wish Mayweather Promotion growth big.

Floyd has said the same thing. He’s stated multiple times he tried to help Roger with his diabetes but he wouldn’t listen. Still drank alcohol and ate things that you shouldn’t eat with that disease. He said he even hired him a personal chef but Roger blew him off. His own nephew said the same things so it’s not exactly breaking news. It’s also no secret in Vegas where Roger would spend his time. Watch any interview with Roger and any diagnosis of drug addiction and it’s clear as day.
Roger isn’t known as some great trainer. Floyd pretty much trained himself and the other fighters Roger worked with never did much. After Roger deterioration health wise and Floyd Sr. took over it was business as usual. We all have tape of Rogers “amazing” advice to Floyd between rounds and the 24/7 footage of Roger holding the sparring gloves and not much else. Floyd always said he never watched film and adjusted to the opponent during the fight himself. Roger was mostly on the payroll because Floyd had beef with his Dad for so long.Comment

So many fighters do end up hurting themselves permanently from fighting well past their time, and while it sometimes makes for impressive, impressive feats like Pac still being a championship fighter, Hopkins being a champ in his late 40s, Foreman being the oldest HW champ and all that, fans never really consider what this **** does to fighters afterwards. Even the ones with glory moments like those end up ****ed up for the rest of their lives. Most end up more like Roy, getting knocked unconscious for years.
It's totally understandable for fighters who don't want to fight on until they're getting their asses kicked.Comment
