Wow, you so worried about the "sanctity" of AJ's wins you're defending Parker. Unbelieveable. Doesn't matter ... Ruiz should have won against Parker ... knocked AJ into next week .... and yeah, threw it all away for pizza. He may come back right though ... if he does, we know two people who won't be running to fight him (that AJ track-meet means nothing. Obviously Ruiz "gave" AJ that win - but no fault to AJ on that one. He owns the first fight much more legitimately though).

PS - I'd luv to see Wilder vs Parker. Parker (in my book) was a legit win for AJ, and he will be for anyone else too.

      A history of his cowardice:

He’s been the hometown fighter in almost all of his fights.

He fought carefully selected competition until he was chosen for a title shot.

He fought many carefully selected opponents during and after his title reign.

He didn’t push for a victory against Ruiz and instead relied on hometown judges to give him the title.

He used his title to get the lottery fight against Anthony Joshua. After getting the lottery fight, he didn’t try to win. He only tried to keep it close and probably thought he could secure a rematch until the cards were read and wider than expected.

He only took the Dillian Whyte fight because it was huge money and a playoff to Anthony Joshua. (Whyte didn’t take the winnings for some reason though lol.)

Now that he’s number two in the WBO rankings and the Usyk mandatory is on deck, he’s going to fight bums until his name gets called again.

He’s so hard to root for but it won’t matter. He’ll get another shot and get destroyed.

I would agree with OP. Parker lacks self confidence. That is why he will probably never win world title again. He can`t beat Joshua or Fury. He even lost against Whyte because he has no balls.

But he actually has a great career so far, he has nothing to complain about.

Most contenders are like that, take no risks-wait for shot.

Silly thread. Parker's resume speaks for itself, it's as good as anyone's at heavyweight and he's only 28, nobody is going to fight from #1 to #10 back to back to back. He's definitely one of the better heavyweights out there.
