Joseph Parker doesn’t have the balls to be a real champion

Joseph Parker doesn’t have the balls to be a real heavyweight champion. That’s always been the case and it’s showing up again now with his opponent selection.

    A history of his cowardice:

He’s been the hometown fighter in almost all of his fights.

He fought carefully selected competition until he was chosen for a title shot.

He fought many carefully selected opponents during and after his title reign.

He didn’t push for a victory against Ruiz and instead relied on hometown judges to give him the title.

He used his title to get the lottery fight against Anthony Joshua. After getting the lottery fight, he didn’t try to win. He only tried to keep it close and probably thought he could secure a rematch until the cards were read and wider than expected.

He only took the Dillian Whyte fight because it was huge money and a playoff to Anthony Joshua. (Whyte didn’t take the winnings for some reason though lol.)

Now that he’s number two in the WBO rankings and the Usyk mandatory is on deck, he’s going to fight bums until his name gets called again.

He’s so hard to root for but it won’t matter. He’ll get another shot and get destroyed.

He acts like he is an accomplished fighter who is above taking certain fights.

But he hasn't really proven anything yet.

            Yeah, I kind of agree.

Remember when he was one of the "young guys" along with Wilder & Joshua who was going to be the future of the HW division, after Fury beat Klit and went nuts?

He's not even thought of anymore.

More people think of Dillian Whyte, Andy Ruiz, and Luis Ortiz than Joseph Parker now.

He's been treading water for like 3 years now.

If Wilder defeated him he would be another top fighter on the forum , after the AJ first fight his fans said Ruiz defeated Parker and after the rematches they said Ruiz is a bum not proven , now here we go again it’s trying to negate a Joshua win either way .

More work ethic and drive then a lack of balls.

Umm I disagree. Ruiz, Joshua, Whyte is pretty good considering he is in his 20s. Takam and Hughie are solid too.

I think money does factor in his decision making, but he doesnt appear as someone who wont take risks, his resume is pretty good and his performances in those fights, whilst a bit up and down with consistency, have generally been good.

He may not be elite, and I do think he lacks the ultimate self belief to be elite (not sure that is what you mean) but he still has time to improve and prove.

Side note: he needs to bend his knees more, he stands at that same level for the whole fight.
