I've zero problem with Golovkin taking this stance and ain't got much interest in the trilogy anyway... but I goddamn wish Golovkin would have taken the 'phuck Canelo' stance back in '17 when he coulda signed to fight Saunders in Kazakhstan after Canelo had kept him waiting 18 months or again in '18 after Clenbuterolgate when he shoulda just fought Derevyanchenko (or even Saunders again) and told Canelo to kick rocks.... Ah well, I get it, I guess - it's much easier to stand on principle when you got $30 mil in the bank then when you got $3 mil...

Reflexes slow down as you age. You can make up for it through experience but at some point it's a losing battle. Reflexes peak at age 24. Ring wars accelerate it but it still happens. That's true in most sports.

The guy has ZERO data supporting claim that reflexes peak at 24 AND - more importantly - ignores Ring IQ...which INCREASES with age.

As fighters get older and SMARTER they put themselves in favorable positions and dont rely purely on reflexes..that's an intelligence thing and increases with age.

That is why ALL SPORTS consider athletes in their late 20s and early 30s to be their absolute "prime" because their body is still strong and durable and their mind is at its highest functionality.

GGG does not have miles in himself other than Canelo 1 and 2 (moreso 2) and Dervenchenko. It could be argued Jacobs as well...either way those are his only meaningful fights (4 fights) in an otherwise forgettable career.

And its GGGs own doing. Hes chasing some literal BUM instead of rematching Dervenchenko...who BEAT Borat....rematching Jacobs who ARGUABLY BEAT Borat...or losing to Canelo again

Most of Bo**** contract is laden with incentives as is Canelos..viewers, new subscribers, replays, obv live gate and concession too.

GGG is definitely making out good but it's not $30 mil/fight. He earns no incentives when he fights these random scrubs
