Haha true but Ryan’s dad translates for him so it’s likely going to be the same with Andy. The big difference here is Ryan knows discipline while Andy has shown he does not. Reynoso, while a good trainer, cannot turn every fighter in his arsenal into an elite fighter. Can he do it with Andy? We’ll see

Andy should hire a nutritionist to help with his diet and he's all set. Just some discipline and hard work will be needed after that.
I disagree, I think he needs a disciplinarian type of trainer that won't take crap or his garbage excuses on why he isn't training, someone who holds him accountable. While the Reynosos seem like good trainers I also get that vibe that they just like to be buddies with their fighters and will let them get away with things. I hope I'm wrong though and this turns out to be a great pairing, but it's all dependent on Ruiz's discipline

This is very big news. And they are a very good match.

I predict Ruiz becomes a heavyweight champion 2nd time.

Only if he is serious and disciplined with himself.

Good move, Andy still has a couple more years to invest in him, so good move for both. Plus he has proven to have that strong chin and hard hitting and fast boxing that almost resembles Canelos team so you don't need much work just discipline. We will definitely be seeing some improved fighting from Andy it's going to be good.

Not true. He speaks like a chicano, injecting some spanglish here and there, but he is 100% fluent and capable of communicating as well in Spanish as he does in English.

They aren't pushover trainers. Look what they did with Canelo. Look back at his career. He improved dramatically with every fight when he was coming up. I think this is probably the best training team he could have hoped to hook up with.

Atlas wasn't a good choice. I think for Ruiz having a Mexican trainer is better for him. Now he joins team Canelo so this will make him feel more comfortable push him even more in training.

Champ 2nd time Against who? Team AJ aint ever giving him a shot at anything again, hes too big of a target for wilder and i believe wilder lands one at some point and puts ruiz out... and he gets his ears boxed off by Fury.

Totally agree, Ruiz made the best move. Discipline can be fostered by Reynoso with faaar less psycho mumbo jumbo than Atlas wouldve brought to the table. Him and Canelo aint too far in technique.

Atlas didnt invent discipline, hard work, dedication, pride or even motivation. He's someone that inevitably sees the worth & value in all those things. But the task of maintaining it in his fighters comes across weird, and more self serving than anything...to me anyways.

Huge bulgy Andy doesnt need extra attention put on him with new trainer Extraordinaire Attention Whore Atlas at the helm - giving updates to the public on what he's doing with his defective project, the 'project' that needs him and him alone - so desperately.

Let hyper sensitive Atlas go prove himself with someone else - volunteers will be out there.... And I'm sure he can get his message across with psychedelic lights, a bugle and a deflated basketball.

If Reynoso can get 4 or 5 successful performances out of this man - what more should be expected for their time together. A motivated Andy can throw a wrench into any successful heavyweights plan like he did Joshuas.
