Canelo is criticized for 154-155 yet Floyd could swing 154-147...

The reality is that you FEEL Canelo ducked fights or divisions then apply the length of time from 154-160 to any other fighters whom NOW have the ability to fight at higher classes. Eye test alone Trout and Canelo were the same size in their fight. So then when you see Trout vs Jermall Charlo, is it to say that Canelo “grew” taller and bigger when he fought at the full 160?

I still don’t understand why Canelo haters bring up 155 as if he were draining or depriving Lara, Kirkland, or Ángulo. The same Canelo haters say Canelo drained himself for these exhibition fights. Lol.

Cotto wanted 155, what else could Canelo do? Khan wasn’t stopped by hard hitting Maidana, or Alexander or Collazo at 147... in fact Khan only had 10 fights at Lightweight... how is he a “seasoned Lightweight.” Is Khan the only Lightweight in history that moved up?

For a while there these dudes were pretending 1 lbs was really that big of a deal for a non title fight even with guys like Angulo Lara and Kirkland who benefitted just as much Canelo from that 1 lbs. These dudes were actually trying to convince PPl that Canelo was doing this cuz he couldn’t make 154 anymore but then he fought Lism Smith @ 154 and this is after a Cotto so their argument pretty much got smashed and put in the narrative recycle bin. BTW that bin is full, someone needs to take it out

It’s all detraction. Canelo is the catalyst for GGG fans whom were upset that PAC lost to Floyd. I find it strange here and on YouTube guys whom criticize Canelo were heavy GGG and still now PAC fans while crying about everything else.

It’s insane that GGG wasted his career or his “prime” from 2011-2014. That’s the “prime” GGG fans refer to. Bhop even went down for DLH. They’re just upset that GGG played them about the belts and never beat Bhops record. Lol. All that time waiting and GGG turned on his fans. They say “it makes business sense (for GGG)” but other stars aren’t entitled for their “business” moves as well.

GGG could fought at 168 and STOLE or imposed a mandatory title opportunity against anybody. If 154 was “easy” then it means GGG could’ve gone to 160 any time SINCE ITS PROVEN TODAY! Lol. In other words, if he never fought Ward or unified with Ward, he could’ve gone back to 160 the same way Floyd went from 154 back to Welterweight.

      Easy work.

he tried to fight ward in that very period you described from 2011-2014 and guess what? ward said no. ward also said no to guys like bute as well and tried to fight kelly pavlik and dmitri sartison. this isnt a secret so im not sure why you make up your own stories about ggg ducking or staying at 160 when there were better fights at 168. there weren't. ggg turned ward down to fight curtis stevens is essentially what you are saying which isnt true but hey maybe if you keep saying it it will come true?

the double-standards of Golovkin and his shltty fanbase

they prefer to call Canelo a cvnt, rather than admit Golovkin is a hypejob who lied to his fans

the fans do not want Golovkin to take a risk, or live up to his hype

BBB played the diva... got that fight on his terms... and still lost

Thing about Caneloweight is....that two pounds was apparently such a big deal to you fans...two pounds is the reason for that loss

and it wasn't just a loss. It was probably the most lopsided win of Mayweathers career. Let that one sink in. Two pounds.

True. I used to be a huge G fan and actually went with the hype that he could beat Ward then when he ducked him to keep fighting scrubs I said WTF? I then quietly went back and noticed a very bold pattern of contradictions and so many things they pretended wasn’t there fault. I hate excuses and I didn’t feel sorry for him I felt betrayed by a scam artist

This is utter nonsense. I said GGG wasted his time at 160, you And I can interpret it as “ducking” but at the end of the day, from 2011-2014, you want to convince readers that there weren’t better fights than Proksa+ years or that HBO wouldn’t pay for 168-type Proksas or Rosado’s or Adama’s at 168?!

Lay off the crack. You posters created these lies and GGG diehards went along with it. Lol

I even said GGG didn’t have to unify with Ward at 168 which is common practice in boxing ala Stevenson vs Kovalev. Fact is GGG chose weaker fights at 160 and HBO would’ve paid the same value at 168. “Better fights doe.”

When Canelo stipulated catch weights, it was because it benefited him to do so, period.
