Khan and Hatton should have switched trainers at that time. Mayweather Sr could have helped Khan protect his own chin while Roach could have improve Hatton’s effective aggression and head movement

lol true... i have no idea why hatton went with sr.. it was clear as day that sr will not be able to teach hatton anything new because hatton's style is far from the style that sr is used to teaching.

Maybe he thought training with the dad of the man who beat him could help him improve but it’s obvious that his fighting style doesn’t fit with whatever the trainer can teach him

He did say he is not saying he would have won , he just saying he could have done better. He had reasons in the Floyd fight also and again he said he was not saying he would win just do better.

Lots of guys have things happen that effect them leading into a fight, most dont saying anything some like Manny have an excuse on every loss.

Its hard for guys to say something was not right with them because everyone jumps them for making excuses yet sometimes they are legit but its too late once the party is over.

I thought the writing was on the wall with his ******* habit and his life falling to bits had more fallout than Snr working him too hard.
