Don't mind those delusional fake boxing fans. I do take a pity on them, they have been worshipping a fake champ, so when they see a real champion they get confused like their fake champ after the beating Fury gave him.Comment

I’ve never been more wrong about a fighter than Tyson fury, when he first started out I didn’t think he had the potential to be anywhere near world level.Comment

This era of boxers are more celebrities than fighter, that’s what the games become.Comment

He is ambitious and works very hard to accomplish his dream of becoming an undisputed champion. There is nothing preachy or fake about that. And he has been fighting the mandatory accordingly.
Fake is the one who just managed to become a champion of one of the abc and got protected since then with zero ambition to unify the division. Fortunately, he eventually got exposed for what he's truly is, paper-champion.
Just wish he'd lighten up a bit more in interviews, it's all a bit manufactured and 'branded' now but perhaps that's all part of the plan.Comment

I don't think he got preachy. I think the fame just came too sudden for him. He's a regular guy that wants to hang out with the lads and make enough money to help his fam. Then he became a dad and money/fame got in the mix. They type of recognition he got after beating Wlad in 2017 would've broken a lot of people because it came fast. A look at how Fury went berserk after that should tell you all you need to know.
I think after that, since he doesn't indulge in vices like others do, he started reading those inspirational quotes. And that's why he talks the way he talks now. But as time goes on - he'll get more comfortable.Comment

The way he talks has everything to do with his cultural background. He's of the Yoruba tribe, Nigeria, and that's how their adults speak. Nothing bad about that.Comment
