Waiting for that fight to happen would probably take Helenius to near 40. That queue is not a short or uncomplicated one.

      That’s what I don’t get either
Why would he rematch him when he’s knocking on the door

The chances of AJ ever actually fighting Helenius are very slim and if it does happen it'll be at least 18 months from now, so waiting for a shot against AJ isn't a realistic option.

          Understood
But doesn’t mean he has to give Kownacki a rematch
Although in hindsight it would probably be an easier trail to AJ

It's always a shame when fighters lose their ouch resistance and don't recognize it. He can't take a punch anymore. Years of using his head for his defensive strategy have caught up with him. I like him, would have loved to see him get a tactile and a couple big money fights but it won't happen now. Hopefully he doesn't get serious hurt before he realizes his chin isn't the same as it was.

...or he has just never been hit that hard before.

Helenius vs AJ should be the next fight , Why well boxing will have no fans so something like AJ vs Helenius can easily be next....

                AJ vs Helenius
                Fury vs Witherspoon
                Wilder vs Huck

^^ All easy stay busy fights that can be made without FANS til fans can comeback to the arenas... Boxing is wasting too much time look at wrestling they doing shows without fans

In that case then why wouldn’t AJ fight Pulev behind closed doors ?
                  And so on ......

"I’m staying in shape" Says the guy who is, like Ruiz, obviously stuffing food in his pie hole with BOTH hands. And rematch Helenius? Why? He never had Robert in any trouble, he himself was in trouble and backing up in round 2, and when Helenius got his chance... ended fat boy in no time. Wasn't even close. Was an embarrassment. And Helenius didn't even get everything right. Imagine him prepping a more fine-tuned fight against the blimp who seems to love to use his face as defense. Gee... Kownacki sure has some 'strategy' going there, doesn't he? SMH

I'd suggest a fight with Ruiz. Call it the Battle Of The Baby Blimps... sponsored by some pizza company.... maybe STUFFED CRUST.

                      LOL
