I agree this is a good point. Its why when you see boxing news in mainstream america its Adrien Broner slapping a strippers ****.

And where is boxing pushed at all anymore? Go to any school and you have all the balls teams but no boxing ever. I mean, what do you expect?

      No effort.

      No growth.
Wrestling is pretty big now in high schools. Boxing gotta do a better job pushing it in high schools but boxing has a greed problem and likes to eat its own mentally.

        Far less violent...
Most kids think WWE is real. So they assume it’s violent. And MMA is big with the kids. Don’t Blame the kids it’s boxing it self.

ufc is way easier to follow, more condensed, better presented and has good undercards

          i still prefer boxing

That’s not it. I seen a lot of single moms drop their kids off at karate class two towns over. The mother doesn’t care. They just want the kids out of their hair for two hours after school or during the weekend.

I think it's one of many factors. I got into boxing because my dad was into it, we used to watch all the big fights together.

If my dad wasn't in my life growing up, I doubt I'd be the boxing fan I am now.

There is nothing wrong with boxing, people need to stop looking at the sport as the issue.
that is all I am going to say.

People need to stop continually criticizing the sport of boxing, there is nothing wrong with it.
