Whoever has the best conditioning will likely win. Hall is retired, he can cut weight and get in shape, he used to be a decent swimmer before he became a strong man so he can get in shape. Thor if he's still wanting to compete in strongman won't be able to cut weight and lose strength. TBH i don't think it'll happen, someone will pull out.

These two have been going back and forth for weeks now. For context: Eddie set the deadlift record for 500k (around 1100 lbs) in 2016. And Hafthor, "The Mountain" from Game of Thrones", just broke the record today with a lift of 501kg. BUT -- Eddie did his lift in a competition, and Thor is doing it from his home gym.

I think most people accept that Thor could do that lift in competition, and probably more than 501kg too. Eddie Hall says that he believes this to be the case.

The real beef they have is that Thor accused Eddie of cheating in the 2017 WSM.

Thor seems to be a bit of an ******* in real life. His cheating allegations look like just being bitter about losing, and don't make a lot of sense. He also has a few women who made domestic violence accusations against him.

They've set a date. It's a LOOOONG way off, so training and conditioning could really be in a different place by Sept 2021.
