GGG is really really good, maybe even great, but he is on the down slide. Canelo is really really good, maybe even great, and he is still climbing, and getting better.

I gave Canelo fight #1, (by a hair), haven't watched fight #2 enough to have a valid opinion.

Canelo was a beeotch for avoiding GGG for a solid 18 months, and then dropping the WBC belt. Smh.

Golovkin's fanboys don't know much about boxing and care even less about it. They seem to enjoy playing the victim when Golovkin loses a close fight. They are like teeny boppers slobbering over some rock star. The reality is that Golovin crushed tomato cans, but has fought in some close fights when he stepped up to fight top-level guys.

Some of this idolatry is based on national and ethnic pride, some of it is racism. But the fanboys ought to at least respect the sport and acknowledge that the fights with Canelo and even, Jacobs and Derevyanchenko were close.
