Absolutely... these are guys who basically have to fight half their careers on the road and 9/10 are gonna have the judges against 'em, whether in Europe or the US. One of the reasons why much of the time it's the KO artists out of Africa that you hear about... the slicker guys are often fighting the judges as much as their opponents and get buried before they ever get started. Mostly the times African guys get to our screens is when they get picked up by a US or British promoter.
That said props to Pole Cieslak who went to Kinshasa a coupla months back to fight Makabu in a temporary arena under less than ideal circumstances... not many guys from Europe or the US would take that shot.
