Just make the damn fight and put it on a blue screen and I’d pay good money to watch it!, heck a way to imitate crowd noise!

I’m going with Bud as usual, too much skill and raw killer instincts!

As long as Crawford accepts that he is not the A-side then this fight should be easy to make.

But he wants a 50/50 split despite having terrible PPV numbers.

If the roles were reversed we know damn well that Arum wouldn't agree to 50/50.

Since he brought up the money issue I think the truth is that people aren't going to be very eager to attend large scale public sporting events or feel like they can afford to buy a PPV any time soon, so every boxer needs to understand that the money just won't be what it used to.

Both guys are talented fighters. It's too bad some people don't appreciate that. Lots of you get caught up in being fanboys. Of course I, like many others want to see this fight. However, boxing is not like the UFC. In the UFC they just throw fights together. No one really rises up the ranks to get a title shot. It's more of a popularity contest. In boxing, to build a fight up, most champions should clean out their division of qualified contenders and then seek out a unification bout. We'd still get interesting fights, the welterweight division is loaded with talent. In this day and age of the internet, fans seem like they are owed something from boxers. Calling someone a duck or coward because they haven't fought a certain fighter. You have to be naive to think any boxer is scared of another boxer. They are in the fight game for a reason. Anyone who steps in an arena to fight gets nothing but the utmost respect from me.

This fight is at least a year away imo.
Spence needs to actually get back and have at least two fights before Crawford. Hes mentioned a plan of Danny Garcia then Pacquiao, which would be good. Why rush, he has options. Crawford on the other hand is struggling to get meaningful fights.

bums huh? So his first title at 140 was a vacant belt he won vs dulorme who was 22-1 and since that fight , most believe he deserved the wins vs ugas and Jesse vargas. Definitely not a great fighter, but a bum? The the next belt Crawford won was vs 28-0 postol who had just come off of making mathysse quit in his previous fight. Bum? Then his 3rd belt was vs 22-0 indongo who had just come off winning the belt in the uk vs the hometown fighter Ricky burns. Bum? Those 3 guys had a combined record of 72-1 when Crawford faced them and were all in their primes when he faced them. See if you want to say he hasn't beaten an elite p4p quality fighter, cool, but we both know why you're trying to exaggerate his opposition by calling them bums. And the fact is, if Crawford was Mexican, you'd have a completely different stance on him.. So stop being a hypocrite.

Ok not bums that’s harsh, but those guys aren’t world beaters per say... not nearly as talented as the 47 fighters... plus he won’t have the power advantage against most 47 guys... so, like i said he unified 40 but to me that doesn’t justify him ranked #1 p4p. If he unifies 47 then the #1 ranking will be justified

not world beaters but credible opposition. The politics in boxing suck because 147 has the best talent in boxing imo, but Haymon holds his guys captive to fighting each other. Crawford gets blacklisted for being with top rank, meanwhile, it'll be impossible to determine the best in the division without including him. I think he beats them all, but opinions mean nothing unless he does it.

Crawford is really eager to get that fight happen right now.

This is the only window of opportunity he could beat Spence.

Its not about believing or not believing, Crawford is not a pacquiao or mayweather or canelos level making 30+ million per fight , fighters purses come from how much tickets they sell, Terrence barely sells out arenas in omaha, where he's from. Not to mention that arum is known to low ball his own fighters
