Banks is a maintenance trainer. Think Golovkin chose him because he's easy to get along with, doesn't talk as much as Sanchez, doesn't need to be paid as much, and can let G do his own training while keeping focus on motivation and technique focus.

Old fighters don't change their styles.

GGG is lazy as F. He doesn't want that work with aggressive trainers who don't settle for less. The fact that he got kicked out of the snac program tells everything. Banks is down to earth, doesn't demand huge $$$ to train, and goes along with everything. That could also be ggg's downfall, as banks never had any sense of urgency with his instructions in the derevyanchenko fight, a fight that ggg should rightfully lose.

pure speculation u dont have any proof he is lazy and you are going by hear say on snac. Just shows how unprofessional a
business snac is to air out any info about fighters that should be private.

You really are blind dude. SNAC put that news out there because of Golovkins reputation of playing the victim and throwing others under the bus. They basically beat Golovkin to the punch and stuck to the facts. They didn’t say any bad thing about ggg they just said “They asked him to leave because he didn’t stick to the program.” What? They’re supposed to give Tom Loefflor the chance to try to spin another one of Golovkins failures and some how make it SNACS fault?

That right there is a huge red flag... Selling out fighters to get news is never a good long term goal.

He did not want to wear their logo. That has been reported. Don't know if they wanted him to wear it instead of his customary Kazakhstan robe or he already has an agreement with someone else. Maybe he wanted to get paid to wear it. In any event they parted ways.
