not fighting a guy who was #1 for 4 years is pretty bad dont you think? obviously politics gets in the way sometimes but when you have all the power and leverage and still dont use it to make the fight. that makes you look even worse! i dont look too kindly on guys taking fake retirements to avoid threats but i guess some people dont care about that either. prime cotto, prime marg, prime williams, yeah its break time! oh ill come back for marquez and old mosley yeah that will do...why not fight the prime guys and take the break? you really need a break after dispatching baldomir and little hatton? next guys up were cotto/marg/williams uhh im retired i cant find anymore gimme fights. its almost like it was calculated...oh wait when did he announce his comeback? after cotto, marg, and williams had all lost/left the division? so many coincidences

The amount of threads that get made daily even by people that don’t like him says a lot. These people are absolutely desperate for him to come back because nobody has filled his shoes since. The haters don’t have anyone successful enough to really to hate on, and there really hasn’t been anyone who’s taken a strong hold of the p4p list either. It’s kind of amazing that even 5 years after the last fight against a boxer this forum still sees more posts and threads about Floyd than anyone else.

I mean the only active fighter with a resume that compares is Pac. And none of the other guys are even close.

Without question not the best resume of his generation by far but definitely underrated by most fans at the moment

Simple because your version is not what happened, do some unbiased research and cleanse your soul with truth, you live with way too many lies.

Floyd s resume is very good. It's made him a top 25 atg so it's got to be good. Beating a former flyweight with 70 fights under his belt is Floyd's best win. So some might not think Floyd should be so high.
But you add a young nel o a old ssm and it becomes a decent resume.
