Basing a fight off a Valuev as evidence isn’t going to win the argument. Most guy are over 6”4 and of Olympic caliber or legit top level skills . The recent Fury fight even shows you why size matters and only Usyk can be the guy undersized at this moment to win a belt . Teddies point is holding out for that guy who is undersized but living off history when the entire division has shifted isn’t realistic. Wilder was only successful because he can punch ,who else fought at below 220 with a punch like that in this era ?

The heavyweight division is 200 pounds and above.

The variation in body types and sizes is what makes the division the best in the world 'If you take that away, it will completely destroy a marquee attraction within the sport'.

I am not even going to debate this subject, as I think it is silly. The cruiser weight division should be the greatest division on the planet? Taking into consideration that most of them are more classical heavyweights in terms of physique 'But it is not the greatest division'.

People are taking as if we are living in a time where most of these super-heavyweights, are carved out of granite and endowed with the athleticism of Michael Jordan 'That is not the case'. The large majority of heavyweights these days are struggling.

Tyson Fury is struggling, he is great fighter 'But I would not quite deem him as a great athlete' If you was to take apart his attributes and analyse each component. Tyson Fury wanted a pat on the back for cutting out diet cokes during his last training camp, which was a complete and utter joke 'As a fighter in some area's he is struggling'.

Take a look around at the large majority of super-heavyweights, from my perspective they all seem to struggle or are deficient in some sort of way 'All accept Anthony Joshua'.

I think the contrast of having Super heavyweights competing against more classical heavyweights is where the heavyweight division needs to go 'The cruiser weight division, needs to be altered back to 190 pounds 'Forcing all the more classical styled heavyweights back into the heavyweight division'.

Cruiser back down to 190 start the super heavy at 225.

There is no lower limit to any division, Teddy pretty much ignores this fact. No reason why a 205 or even 185 pound fighter would not be able to challenge for the Super HW title.

What do you think all of these extra divisions will achieve? It is not going to make boxing more popular, it is not going to fix anything 'Because nothing within the heavyweight division needs to be fixed' It is historically the greatest division in all of combat sports.

Stop whining and sort yourself out mate.

If a man is walking down the street with his girl, and a bigger man in terms of physical stature started to give him abuse 'That man is going to defend himself and his girl no matter how big the opposing man is etc' That is courage.

The heavyweight division is 200 pounds and above, the variation in body types that compete are what make it such a great division 'The summit of courage'.

The heavyweight title for the large majority of human history WAS the single greatest title any man could capture 'A Olympic Gold Medal and the Heavyweight title historically have been the greatest achievements a single man in sports can achieve' Those accolades have stood the test of time.

Two of the most useless pundits to ever talk about boxing arguing over a useless debate.
